The North West is expected to remain one of the UK’s strongest-performing housing markets over the next five years, according to the latest research from Savills.
The forecast predicts cumulative house price growth of +25% across the North West by 2030, significantly ahead of the UK average of 18.5%. By comparison, London is expected to see growth of 10.6% over the same period.
Savills highlights the North of England as one of the most resilient regions in the country, with strong long-term growth prospects supported by affordability, investment and demand.
For Manchester specifically, the forecast reinforces the city’s continued appeal as a place to live, work and invest. Ongoing investment in infrastructure, education, technology, and regeneration continues to support the city’s growth, whilst its expanding economy and population underpin long-term demand for homes.
As the UK’s fastest-growing city and the economic capital of the North, Manchester remains well positioned to benefit from the North West’s positive growth trajectory over the coming years.
