Club De Padel will close its doors after a successful two-years where it helped further cultivate the community and engage people across the city.
The facility provided a popular meanwhile use for the site that was previously operated as a public car park. Its closure will make way for the development of the next phase of the New Jackson neighbourhood.
Andy Lofthouse, Chief Development Officer at Renaker said “We are very proud that the city’s first padel operation was launched within the New Jackson neighbourhood. Club De Padel has played a significant role in activating the area and have been a brilliant partner to work alongside. We wish them every success in their future projects.”
The founder of Club de Padel said “We’re grateful to Renaker for taking a chance on a big idea and supporting us as we launched our first, and Manchester’s first, padel club. We’re excited to move on to the next stage of our journey, with a new Manchester club and several more across the country to open this year.”
